(Actually, I just wanted to use "hopefully" in a sentence, now that it has been accepted by the AP Stylebook as meaning something other than "in a hopeful manner." I'm looking forward to playing in the dirt aka gardening, reorganizing the attic, making a cork bulletin board for my office wall, working on my novel and maybe, if time allows, dyeing some clothes with my new indigo kit. I took in the Avedon show at the Gagosian yesterday. It features 4 of his big murals, created between 1969 and 1971, that brilliantly reflect the social and political issues of the time. From the Chicago 7 to Andy Warhol's factory, it's all right there, big as life. The show is up until July 27th.
