My emphasis is on seasonal, homemade and nutritious. I’m partial to bold, bright flavors, exotic ingredients, one-pot meals and creative cocktails. I try not to eat much white sugar and, since my husband is gluten-intolerant, I incorporate alternative grains and flours. I’m into nutritional healing and herbal medicine. I love a project, which can mean anything from smoking bacon and fermenting kimchi to planting a vegetable garden and making candles. I enjoy eating out and traveling, but I’m also incredibly content just to chill in my own home.
